The start of a commission piece. I started using contemporary players in older Topps baseball card formats (in this piece it was from a 1964 Topps card) since baseball cards nowadays have little to no style. The players depicted are Pablo Sandoval, Buster Posey and Tim Lincecum. This is in the watercolor stage of my process. Later I would add ink, acrylic and oil paint on top.
